The BI Application Modeler is a web application for building analytical solutions from the bottom up. It supports provisioning, initial deployment (with limited customization), advanced customization, and ongoing maintenance and management. Our vision was to enable customers and partners to build and manage analytic apps in a self-service manner.

Project Overview
The BI Application Modeler enables teams to build analytical solutions end-to-end (provisioning → deployment → advanced customization → maintenance). The previous UX had an overcrowded top bar and inconsistent tables. I rebuilt the IA, redesigned data tables, and established a new design system that now anchors future features.
The Problem
Research revealed the experience had become cluttered and hard to use: features were piled onto the top bar with little structure, data tables were inconsistent (making comparison and filtering difficult), and the app was not scalable or easy to maintain.
The Solution
We redesigned the platform to focus on a clear information architecture, consistent data tables, and a professional SaaS visual language that surfaces insights and reduces cognitive load.
